SMS Financial
In 2001 Barbara Silva put a dream of hers into action and opened up a small business intended to help corporations with their bookkeeping. She called it Silva and My Sons Inc. Over the years Barbara grew her company into not only a Bookkeeping Service but a full fledged Tax Accounting Firm now known as SMS Financial Inc.
In 2009 SMS Financial opened its first office location in Oakland Park, FL, where Barbara worked with her son Johnny Silva. Throughout this process he not only became an Accountant but began learning all the ins and outs of the business. Johnny Silva is now the President of SMS Financial and has inherited the drive to make this wonderful company a success. We have since moved from Broward to our new office in West Kendall.
Unfortunately in 2014 Barbara Silva was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She has since passed on but will always live through us!
Barbara Silva’s dream was to grow this special company into one of Florida’s premier Tax Accounting Offices. We pride ourselves in providing top shelf service and make it our mission to treat you like a part of our family. From Johnny to our fantastic Corporate Administrator Cary, to our booking agents Lazaro and Fidel we ensure that your entire experience with us is excellent from beginning to end.
